Plot Summary
Ann the Giraffe hangs freshly washed sheets on the line. Mat the Rat decides to play in the mud. He splatters mud all over the sheets. Sam, Mit, and Ed are watching. It takes Ann quite a while to find out who is muddying her sheets, as Mat slyly accuses each of his friends of the deed. Finally Mat is caught and punished.
