Plot Summary
In this fantasy story, Mit is a magician with a pointed hat and magic wand. He performs on a hilltop for his friends, Mat and Nan, who wonder what Mit will pull out next from his hat. Mit surprises himself when he produces a seed which sprouts into a weed and then becomes a giant vine. The vine entangles Mit, and the animals wonder whether Mit will be able to save himself with his magic wand. Mit is triumphant and stands on the hilltop in his hat with the wand in hand.
